This month's Performance Ford mag

Got home from work tonight to see the new issue of Performance Ford mag waiting for me to have a butchers. Well must say it's a packed filled mag this month with a few club cars in there from FITP. The rrd at TOTD is featured and is a must read well done to Katie for arranging it as it's a good read and feature. Group shoot looks very good and this is a must buy for any ST owner this month. So get yourself down to your local newsagents and grab youself a copy.

Fiesta ST185 reviewed in this months

Well I got my Performance Ford mag in the post today to see the ST185 reviewed in there. Dave and the team at PF HQ have been busy reviewing the car and even took it to Torque Of The Devil for a power run. It run 183.2bhp which is much better than some standard ST150's as they all seem to run different figures from standard which are way out. 1/4 mile time has come out at 15.52secs at 94.50mph which is quite good from standard. I got my Performance Ford mag today and it was great to see two club cars in it Roy's from FiestaSToc.com and Keenan from FocusSToc.com. Well done lads as the Stealth Grudge Match feature at Brunters was an ace read. If any of you want to read the feature it's on page 116 to page 121 so get down to your local newsagents from Thursday.

Stepping down

Ive decided to step down as Events Co-ordinator which was a joint choice by myself and Jim. It was a very hard choice to make but it's something that had to be done. As due to my personal commitments im unable to put in the time I use to for the role. As you all know I really like this club and want the best for it so thats why I had to do it. Jim has now decided to arrange the shows and events by himself. As that way it's all done by one person and easy for everybody.

This will mean I will be less active on here but im not leaving all together!! As I've decided to stay on as South Central Rep and get the regional area back on the map. I would like to say sorry to my fellow South Central members as with having the two roles. I was unable to put the time into arranging events within are area. But that will change now

I would also like to thank everybody for there support why I was Events Co-ordinator. Also thanks to all the staff for all there help and choosing me to be the Events Co-ordinator in the first place Now best get on the phone to DMB and change them plates

Fiesta ST Kaylan Mudflaps

Well as a few of you know ive been undecided about getting mudflaps for my car for a while now! But my mate got some for his BMW 530i a few months back and they suited the car well. So I thought I would go ahead and order some a few weeks ago from Performance Stars. I went for the Kaylan mudflaps as I wanted them to match the colour of my ST and the colour match is spot on. So I went to see my mate Rich at Airspeed today in Reading as we fitted them on his ramp as we thought it would be easier! But there not that straight forward to fit we done the fronts first as we thought they would be easy which turned out to be the most hardest The backs were done in like 5 minutes as all you have to done is mod the bracket that comes with them and screw them on into place.

I was unsure what they would look like at first But I got a lot of comments from people in the garage at the time and one guy said it looks a lot lower now hehe There was even a deliver driver saying he just brought a new Fiesta ST so I done my staff bit and carded his van

The down side today was I couldn't get my Sparco pedals fitted As the thottle pedal is thick plastic and we couldn't drill into it. As the nut wouldn't get into the back of it. Was gutted about that as they look really good over the standard pedals. I also found out that I have a power steering leak which im not at all happy about! As its leaking from the bottom of the tank so it looks like a seal has gone or the screw needs doing up more. But we couldn't get there plus I would need to book it in again with them. As Rich had three head gaskets to do today. He is really busy there plus he was ill so fair play on him

Im really happy with the final result and thanks to Kirsty and Gray for supplying a top product once again
