Car is @ Pumabuild until next Tues!!

Just thought I would let every1 know my car is @ Pumabuild.
They are trying various things, evn keeping me in the dark with what there doing!!!!

I know for definate though they are doing the following:

Taking my suspension off and sending it away!!
They said in a couple of weeks they will have lowering springs and coilovers.

Chipping it, hopefully, they are not sure If they have the correct software for my ECU but they are letting me know.

Sparco Strutbrace if its out in time,( comes in blue 'D'oh') they are spraying red for me.

Pipercross panel filter.

My Samco temporary hoses are being fitted.

And a few other things they are playing with.

Give Paul a ring if you are interesting in anything.
He is a topman and has sorted me out loads of stuff.

1500mile check up

Hi all,

Took my car in for the 1500mile check up today.

I had a fault on the dashboard saying EAC failure and my car was not running on all four cylinders, Strange!!!
Turned it off then on and it was fine, weird!!

They checked it and said they couldnt find anything wrong!!

Anyway...

What they did do is upgrade my ECU.
The mechanic said the timing comes out of the factory retarded, so the new setting sorts that out.
He also said it will rev more freely.
And it does, it is now spot on, thanks FORDS.
Anyone else had the same done on theirs???
Definately checking out if you havent had it done.
