I was just driving my car and i was thinking, and i went through a big puddle, i dont think it was deep enough to submerge the filter but a load of water got splashed up (.gif

Anyway after this my car became jerky so pulled off the road as soon as i can and turned the engine off. Whilst i was driving it i did notice a load of white smoke? Condensation? From the exhaust. I dunno what. So i turned it straight off and waited about 5 minutes and turned it back on, it was a bit rough for a few seconds then came fine. Then let the engine get hot to try and dry the engine bay a bit. i drove it about 10 miles after that and it seemed ok and nothing was coming out of the exhaust.

I obvious haven't got anything as bad as hydro lock but could there be something wrong with my engine now or has my k+n dry charger (sock thing) done its job?

Thanks

Well I've had a squeak on my car for a month or so. Which I've always thought was the exhaust or heat shield. Anyway after we checked the heat shield it wasn't that. We checked the rear seats, trim etc so checked the site and out the rubber the hand brake cable goes through on the rear axel is a common cause of this so we put some grease on it and it fixed it. Great! So whilse testing for the noise decided to turn round down country road. This is were good turned bad.

I managed to go up the verge a bit and my wheel and mud flap met (.gif
it ripped my arch lining out and broke the plastic bit on the bumper to where the bracket for the flap connects to inner bumper and it doesn't sit flush to car on the rear quater (.gif

Managed to find 6 of the 7 arch liner clips. Anyone got the part number for them? Managed to put it back on and zip tie the rear bit of the liner, since there's no where to clip it to cos that got ripped off. (.gif

So I have 3 mud flaps on lol looks good and booked in for the bumper to be repairs a week on monday.

Anyone else had there mud flaps do this?
