Right then, the time is near approaching when I move out, and need a more economical car.

Basically Im selling a 2007 ST, 34k (60mile a day commute to work) with full heated leather, An alpine 7" Touchscreen DVD player with IPOD connection.

Pumaspeed 182 kit (Milltek manifold, catback and de-cat, K&N 57i, Dreamscience Map to suit.

17" Boss Redlines with Toyo Proxes PX4E's and Lowered 35mm on eibach springs.

Serviced reguarly, has new oil and filter every 5,000 miles (that includes Castrol Edge..ahh yeah..)

I owe 9k on the car still so Id either want to pay it all off as a bulk sum, or find somebody who wants to take on the finance agreement (which ford finance say I can do).

Any suggestions on where to get the best cashback on the car?

I want an A3 TDi s-line or something similar, but i know a dealer will give me 6k max for my car and that hardly seems worth it!

Have fun thinking of solutions!

Thanks.....

Well, after a few hints from james, I feel I should indeed start this topic properly.

Basically Just blab about your track set-up, what youve kept up with round a track and what you think you could do to improve your times.

I'll start....

Currently able to beat my mates 197 round brunt, and keep up (if not pass) any STANDARD Focus RS I come across.

This is on 16" Speedline's with Toyo R888's (on loan). And lowered 35mm on eibach's. My car also has no rear seats and no rear interior. I also have my amplifier on a split-block for easy removal and my sub box is Ratchet-strapped to the rear of the boot for easy removal.

The weight saved doesn't seem to improve acceleration, but it does pitch into the corners better due to less weight up the top and doesnt seem to understeer atall, just gives you nice lift-off oversteer which is obviously well controllable.

Whats everyone else playing with?

Keep the idea's and comparisons coming, then we'll be an unstoppable force at the next ST/RS trackdays!

To continue my black and red theme, i have contacted Ultra to get some black angel eyes and black lexus rear lights. Any thoughts? Im looking at about £310 all in. but thats money that I could spend elsewhere.....hmmm..

Just thought id post a quick shout out to Inchape ford in Farnborough (as i hear one of theyre team on this site somewhere keeping quiet and well hidden). Just managed to Get Ford to approve warranty repair on my fiesta even though I lost my handbook and they have no records of my 1st and 2nd services. Still the young lady (who yes, you fully would!) at Ford managed to convince ford warranty that it should be covered as the services werent relivant to the pump. What a blonde bombshell....i mean er, legend. haha.

So yer, well done ford, for not stitching me up!

Should of given them a set of Cams to install for me seeing as i have to wait a day for a part. I feel that would have been fair.

Im thinking about making up an interior kit out of self adhesive carbon fibre, for around the dials, cup holder, aux-in port etc.... (real carbon fibre, not that square pattern crap). How much would you pay for one? Im trying to weigh up the cost of the carbon sheet. I'll have enough for maybe 3 kits, so i guess somone can buy one off me. lol.

Sorry mike, but do you mind me asking what rims youve got on your ST? they look stunning! Im thinking of getting a new-un in red, and i dont know what colour scheme to work to on this one! In my opinion theres only two ways you can go with this colour, either red and white, or red and black! Either way though its going to end up looking like either yours or Chappos! Chhers Man, Oll
