I have just been looking at the Timeslip and Handbook features on the site and was wondering if anyone had looked at them.

There are a number off good guides on the site, how can these be added to the ones in the Handbook?

I will be putting some info up after the rolling road (assuming I get more than 150PS P.gif

Right,

This rant is due to the attitude I have experienced from other road users while driving a 'performance' vehicle.

Has anyone else noticed that while driving their ST they are sometimes shown particular discourtesy while using the roads? When I was in a 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa courtesy car I drove it exactly the same as every other car I have owned; I was safe and considerate of others using the road even if a little vigorous. I didn't receive ANY attitude from others around me yet when driving my ST I always seem to get (usually older) drivers cutting me up, dangerously overtaking, not letting me merge, reversing onto main roads in front of me, the lot! It worse driving the Subaru. At 15-20 mph you would get aggressive pedestrians shouting abuse at you etc. Why is it that people assume that engine noise kills children?

I am fully aware of the capability of my vehicle, I maintain it, I drive it with full awareness of others around me and I know my driving theory!

These 'safer drivers' with absolutely no apparent knowledge of their vehicles or their condition, no awareness of other people or vehicles on the roads and horrendous spacial awareness think they can tell me what a terrible driver/person I am. I would rather see these drivers that tootle along believing they know it all off the road.

I am starting to think that I am the only person that encounters this. Yesterday for example there was a woman next to me at the roundabout not even looking right. Why the fu@k would you be looking left at a roundabout where the only road there leads onto a dual carriageway? Maybe she thought her friend would be driving along it the wrong way and could have pulled out on her! Then as I entered the roundabout - before the approaching vehicle to my right was even there, by the time she was looking the right way she was cutting him up for his exit onto the carriageway.

Anyway rant over, these people just wind me up to the extent that I feel I have to complain about it.

With the rising costs of motoring, petrol and tax specifically, has anyone considered selling their ST?

If so, what other cars have you been looking at?

I really love my car and the performance but with the rising costs of living and motoring I have been considering changing my car and career (.gif

As title really. Over the past few years I have acquired a variety of tools for working on cars. The main sets that I frequently use are the Halfords Professional 150 piece socket/ratchet set and Professional Screwdriver set.

I would honestly recommend these to anyone that regularly works on their car, they also have a lifetime guarentee. I have also bought several other tools that have transformed once time consuming and difficult jobs into something far easier.

I have purchased two 2T Trolley Jacks, two sets of 2T axle stands and a car creeper for working under the car. I would recommend the Halfords 5 Piece Lifting Kit to anyone working under the car as it makes life alot easier. That said, Ben (st07) had a very good ramp/kerb combo that seemed pretty good lol.gif

Are there any tools or equipment that you guys can recommend for aspects of working on your ST/ZS?
