This would be interesting to find out how many people go to the extra effort of covering up their cars identity ).gif

Well as you all know I had my car repaired recently after I binned it by a local company called Bodytech! Car was mint when Steve gave it me back and I was back in love with it.

Last Friday two little censored.gif 'chav's decided to fight outside the Chippy and use my car as the boxing ring, basically causing £440 worth of damage to just above the B pillar and drivers door.

Now I have to pay the repair bill out of my own pocket all £440 of it!!!! As one lad who was in the fight is apparently a victim of crime and the other has a warrant out on him anyway. If you ask me they are both as responsible as each other.

The police were f*****g useless when I went to the Police Station saying they still have to turn it into a crime. The guy has an existing warrant out so on Wednesday he'll have criminal damage too. I will be following it up with the officer who recorded the 'crime' and ensuring both of them are investigated. Then I have to see if I can get my £440 back. Which hopefully the people in the fight will pay, albeit at £1 a month for 46 million f*****g years.

So yeh I am £440 worse off, my car is dented and I'm f**ked off!!

No more Fiesta ST at the Chippy I'll be using the Escort instead. Yet another place I can't take my car.

End of rant.

Love
Tim

Just booked mine in for 12.5k mile service...

For:

Power Steering Pump Replacing
Clutch Master Clip
Sun Visor
Investigate Flatspot at 5k revs.
Update PCM.
Rattle in Bootlid
The good ol' squeaky clutch pedal.

The lady on the other end of the phone was so polite and wasn't arsey at all and agreed all the above would be done on warranty.

Good Ol' Ford!! Even better it's getting done before the weekend ).gif

It has already been treated for fall out and had the Fan Connector replaced.

If you have a Frozen White (may effect a few diamond white cars) that have orange speckles around the bodywork please make sure you raise this with your dealer ASAP.

I had a look around Vickys car and it too had the dreaded 'fallout' defined as orange speckles of overspray apparently from when they were spraying previous cars.

What you need to do is request the fall out get sorted immediately, they should then take it into a FORD bodyshop and place rags with a solution on them, they leave this all over the bodywork and it draws out the fallout. They then polish the car off and should give it back to you free from all traces of said fallout.

If they say you will have to grin and bear it, do NOT accept this. This is a manufacturing defect and your rights are well within being applied to the SALES OF GOODS ACT. I originally had trouble getting this work done, but I threw my weight around and they took the work on under warranty from Ford.

Please ensure you do this as the more of us with this issue that gets resolved the easier it will be in the long run.

Cheers

I'm waiting on my Facelift Diamond White to be built.

Any ideas on when the factories reopen after 3 weeks closure?
