Roughly £140-£180,

they will change oil and filter, change airfilter and thats about it. They will do a check on the whole car, Tyres, brake pads ETC.

I don't really bother with services like these... major one's such as cambelt, etc, I'll have done. But oil and filter is the easiest thing ever. My old car was a nightmare because of the filter placement, but when I went under the Fez to undo the drainplug and saw the filter was just "there" it brought a tear to my eye. lol. I'd be tempted unless people want the stamp, to say, save yourself the money. It takes 5 minutes to do the oil and filter, and then 2 seconds to put in a replacement air filter (obviously if you have an IK your laughing).

Again, it takes 5 minutes to jack the car up, take a wheel off and check your pads and disc surfaces.

Job done, £170 saved and you've learnt a bit more about how to maintain your own car! D.gif

Exactly Jimbo, I am of the same opinion, why pay 170quid just for a stamp in the book? but hey some people are all into a FSH as said.
