Me and my mate at work were discussing the Top Gear hot laps and both wondered where on the board the ST will come.

http://www.topgear.com/content/tgonbbc2/laptimes/thestig/

Any suggestions?

On a dry day ... probably somewhere below the Type R Civic & the Alfa Brera.

Unless it's a Red one then you'll obviously be entering Zonda & Enzo territory. P.gif

What do you reckon the st.gif could do the top gear track in.

I think they'd have to do the ST185 to compare it to the other hot-hatches. Its a bit like testing the 2.0ltr civic Sport, rather than the Type-R. If it was a ST185 vs the rest, I reckon it'll abuse most of them. I know Im ALOT quicker than an ex-colleague's Facelift Type-R. So I think Stiggyus-Maximus would dominate the others.

like bobby said, Morgan was whooping RS's and at brands he was catching a Ferrari 360CS....now most people think this might be bollox but i was in the passenger seat so i know its true...Morgan has had motorsport experience and i think once held a racing license, this makes a world of difference out on track, it dont matter if u got a 70 bhp difference or even more if your some useless rich chav behind the wheel!

like i sad, with the stigs talent, im sure the RS would be faster round a track than a ST...............
