hi,

iv just bought a new steering wheel for my fiesta and im thinking about getting the chrome part engraved at a local shop who do quality engravings, i have no idea what to have or if its a good idea or not??

what do you guys think? thumbsup.gif

IIRC, that part is just coated plastic.

Whilst you're looking into that, how about a retrim with some nice stitching or a change of material?

Arun, that wheel looks smart, how would i go about getting that done then? my old wheel was just a standard one and the leather or whatever material it was started peeling off so i got a new one off ebay for £30!

How much did your wheel cost to be done? Many thanks for the reply

hehe, everyone loves that wheel!

It cost £150. Alcantara with red stitching and red centre-band. Ayesha had hers done too; perforated leather on the side panels, smooth leather top and bottom (like the Focus ST wheel), with pink stitching.

It was done by a trimming company called Gibson Trimming who are based in Southampton
