Have u ever had your ST or any other car u have owned in a mag? How did u go about getting it in there?

I have never sent pictures of my car into a mag but Neil from Fast Ford pm'd me on Passion Ford asking me if I wanted to take part in a Thrash event at Bruntingthorpe (I think it took me all of 1 nanosecond to say yes lol) and it was in the magazine in May this year as a home/company tuned STs against the new ST185 feature. I also asked him if he needed other STs to take part so Sean (dj_kel) came along too as they already had Scott (1stfocus) and Tim (fozz st) STs and the wee ZS Tdci.

I managed to squeeze Frank into this months buyers guide for the fiesta ST. Made me proud

Oh god yes! That was the first one when we invited Owen Norris to a Halfway House meet... lol Along with a few weeny pics from shows etc thats it so far.

I have had a few:
My MK5 ZS featured in their buying guide... Mine and Kenny's Subaru Impreza P1 was a feature in a magazine article... And my ST has also managed to get into a few magazines for various events. I have recently written into PF magazine so hopefully there will be a little something soon. Best thing to do is write in and see how far you get. -------------------- |

About 8 or so years ago I was in REVS magazine (anyone remember that?).
 They organised a Ford -v-Rover 1/4 mile shootout at Alconbury airfield, and I attended in my car at the time. (Modified Montego MG-Turbo) The day was billed as an "old mans" -v- "chavs" shootout and the cover picture for the article had me and a mate dressed up with a pipe / flat cap / slippers / stick facing off against a couple of ford lads with bling chains and baseball caps, with our cars lined up in the background. It was really funny - great day out with loads of cars attending - some really nice cars and a few quick times.  Jamie from Jamsport was there in his RS-Turbo and he very kindly fixed my throttle cable when it snapped suring my second 1/4 mile run - he probably doesnt even remember but I have a nice picture of him with his head in the engine bay! If I can find some pics I will post them up Dave --------------------  |

Had the Fiesta in fast ford twice, once as a article on its own on how to build a 200bhp ST and once with a few from here in a bruntigthorpe day. Both times invited by Neil from FF as I knew him from my focus days.
Had my mk1.5 focus in FF twice also, once in a RR day and once as a little feature from a meet, again both by Neil as it was quite a modified style wise focus albeit slow as hell. -------------------- |
