All,

Its been suggested to us a number of times in the past whereby there is a "thanks" button you can click to obviously thank a member for their post... the idea being to reduce the need to reply with a typed reply, therefore reducing unnecessary posts.

Above all, I think its fair to say there are a great deal of useful threads/replies made by members and its always good to know its appreciated.

You will now find a thanks button at the bottom right of every persons post.

Regards

Jim

It is with huge regret that i have to announce that two of our very valued members of the staff team are stepping down. Arun and Dale (Cron) will be much missed in their roles, and their input to the club has been invaluable. I would personally like to thank them both for their commitment to the club and wish them the very best. A great loss, as i'm sure everyone will agree.

Thank you Arun and Dale bow.gif

Hi all,

I have mixed feelings in this announcement because we are losing one member, but gaining another in the Staff Team.

As some of you are aware, Goose (Craig) has been completing a house renovation project over the past few years which as I'm sure you can imagine has consumed a large amount of his free time. With this being said he has been unable to access the forum as much as he'd liked, and hasn't been able to give the amount of time required into the Staff Team role.

In light of the above, the decision has been made for Craig to stand down from his role and to concentrate his efforts on his personal commitments, and for a further member to join the Staff Team.

The new addition to the Staff Team is:

SamanthaST

Sam has made a valuable contribution to the club, both as a member and as a Regional Rep. I'm sure Sam will take to the role like a duck to water and will continue to contribute to the club as much as she has done, if not more whilst still being actively involved in her regional area.

Congratulations and welcome to the team!

James and Staff Team

**************

CLUB SHOP NOW OPEN AGAIN!

**************

Hello all,

Unfortunately, due to the recent server update we have been experiencing various technical issues with the Club Shop.

In light of this we have stopped a number of products from being purchased, namely Club Membership, Club Vinyl's/Resin Badge's, and also FITP tickets.

We will endeavour to solve these technical issues ASAP, as and when we do I will make a further announcement

Your patience in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

All,

I'm not actually sure what downtime we suffered as I was at work, however, I'm pleased to say we're now running on our new and extremely powerful clustered servers.

I have not had chance to check all the areas of the website, I would therefore ask if you come across any error messages, or faults, please respond to this thread and I will address them as soon as possible.

Regards

Fiestastoc.com Team.

All,

Firstly, you will have noticed the Shoutbox was taken down as a precaution on the 23rd Feb and has remained offline since.

The FordSTOC.com Network has seen an increase in traffic in the last few weeks, this has resulted in our server struggling to cope.

In order to minimise any further problems and allow for future growth (again) we're moving to something called clustered servers. The sites will be spread across nine different servers, this will allow for 10 times the traffic we currently get. If one server is busy, you will get directed to another less busy one, meaning your browsing experience is quick and the sites run without any slow down.

There will be a 10 minute downtime with the next few days, unfortunately I cannot be sure exactly when as we host 8 websites which all need moving one by one.

Regards

Jim
