Interesting!!! On a normal week about 245 miles, but I did an eco run on the weekend where I did 2 journeys of 128 miles. Got this out of a full to the brim tank and still have a little left for work! So I recon it would max out to 270! This was driving on a motorway at 70-80mph only stopping 4 times on the whole of the milage. Some of the distance was 50mph and not driving silly on the laney roads.

I do find that if you spank it for about 3 minutes you can lose about 10 miles off your full tank tho!!!

I have a pre-facelift model where the guage is broken up inot 8ths. I can get about 32 miles to 1/8 tank nomal driving.

I do 40 miles a day to work and back...half on motorway and half on A roads....I get about 290 miles before I need to fill up again...the miles to empty still says 50 - 60 so in theory I get 340 - 350 miles to a tank..... DDance.gif

Car is completely standard P.gif

How do you manage 410? Is that with no lights, perfect weather, no radio ect?

Headwinds and rain reduces fuel eco!!

Nope just cruised at 55 - 60 and it was non stop motorway. Was 2am heading to Hampshire so headlights and cold air on. No air con though and using the radio. Just change early be gentle on the throttle and try sitting at a constant speed and good fuel miles can be had

Thats how I drive on the motorway as well, motorways are hardly "fun" to drive on P.gif

A mate of mine went to Southampton every weekend from Manchester and he got similar miles, his MPG on his reader was 38!!! I have managed no better than 32.8!
