We just spent a week driving round Iceland.... WOW!

Drove to Heathrow stopping off at Ace Cafe, flew to Kevlavik, picked up the Fez TD and set off round the 1 ring road, saw geysers, volcano's, glasiers, waterfalls. Had a couple of hot pool dips.

1104 miles covered, walking boots warn out.

The Fez was perfect, cruise control was a bonus as I could enjoy the scenery without constantly checking the speedo.

Even though it's a main road there was still plenty of the loose stuff to play on!!!

A bit expensive, £5 a bottle of beer but can recomend it as a fantastic hols.

A 4X4 would have been fun but there was plenty of fun to be had with the Fez.

We stayed one night in an hotel 7km from Eyjafjallajoekull and that's as close as we wanted to get!
There was still ash on the window ledges!
