Are you viewing through a phone by any chance? My Iphone does it when someones put a vid on the shoutbox. Minimising the shoutbox solves it.

Suggest that youtube urls posted in the shoutbox don't automatically embed and remain as a hotlink. Don't know how easy that would be for admin to implement?
They do look fairly unwatchable when they embed themselves in the shoutbox, and obviously gives this problem on mobile devices.
