From the clubs point of view ,we are not producng one for next year. We did one couple of years ago but due to poor sales we thought that it was not an option to repeat.

Here's the topic that was started: http://www.fiestasto...-club-calendar/

As Neil has already said we (the staff) shall not be making one.

I looked at organising one this year but due to lack of interest from people sending me photos it would have just been pictures of about 4 cars over and over, altho yours was one of them ricky, and most photos were too small too, with the 26 yes votes i got it would have cost around £7 each, and after my track time thread only half the people who voted yes actually paid up and did the track time (sorry for being so short) the calendar wasn't in my eyes worth the risk of paying £7 x 26 of my own money to get it off the ground only to sell half, shame really as i wanted an ST calendar too.

fyi for a good print of a photo even on A5 format you need to be looking at 2000 x 1330 pixel image.

i think a way in which we could maybe do something similar, and to get get some more big quality pics of cars from the club is to have a "photo/car of the month" for the club in where people could send a pic in then each month, one gets announced as the winner through voting and is availible to download as a desktop for the club with the accompanying month and club logo?

i think we'd need a separate forum section though with say a "photo/car of the month" otherwise it will get lost amongst all the photoshop / image threads.

just a thought anyway,

Matt

I think that's a great Idea Matt ^ I have said this before and I'm sure other's have aswell.

If you look at most other car Forum's they all seem to have a similiar thing (Car/Photo Of The Month Etc)

Photo of the month works quite well on other forums. Only found out last week the 2012 Seloc (South East Lotus Owners Club) calendar is winging it's way to me, as part of the membership. Nice suprise, you'd never get that here (sorry), though the numbers probably are a lot more favourable for them.
