My Postie must hate me for the amount of packets I get every other day - because when i get back from being away with work i go on a big spending spree lol
My job role now is all based on Quality Management; Making sure that externally set standards, e.g. ISO Standards, are adhered to and met... Keeping processes up to date in a central repository (intranet) accessable for all employees so they can do the job they need to the way it needs to be done... Keep Health & Safety procedures current and aware to all.
I enjoy it, it is something different 1 week to the next most of the time. I will get involved in certain projects which can take a week or more and then onto another one so it keeps things fresh.

Well, joined Civilian Police and with an operation GMP ran, became one of the youngest Traffic Cops in the UK (There was a number of us tho). The operation was basically to train younger drivers to take the fight to the younger driver on the road, it worked, when a younger driver was pulled over, they had a far better attitude to myself at 18/19 then they did to my partner who was late 40/50's.
Left GMP in 2009, and joined the RAF as a copper, decided after just under a year the actual job isn't for me, so I became an attachee to 42 commando (Marines), so when we deploy on Herrick (Afghan), I'm attached to them on the front line.
With my Policing background, I perform the normal role of a soldier, fight if we have to, but I do alot of secondary roles on the ground.
Mentoring the Afghan National Army/Police, teaching them what to do.
Gathering evidence from IED/Bombs and ammo rounds (fingerprints)
Gather DNA/Fingerprints/Basic Details from Afghan's we meet to add to the database being formed.
Arrest and deal with any person who attacks/helps to attack or is a risk to ISAF forces (Us, Americans, Danish, Canadians)
Also speak to local village leaders to gain intel, before we deploy, means we do a more advanced language course.
As of April that will be my role for the 6months, with just two weeks R+R!
CAD Technician/Lighting Designer for a building services company. We basically design the electrical and mechanical services (Lighting, power, fire alarm, ventilation, heating) for offices/colleges etc etc.

Me in control room, 2 events and then me inside the big screen.
However the rest of the time I'm a barman (and desperate to leave the job!)
Im a CNC machinist. The company I work for specialise in making machined parts from rubbers and plastics for oil industry, agricultural, food production plants etc etc.
Mainly seals, gaskets, bushes that kind of thing.
Im actually going to have a crack at making my own Polyurethane bushes instead of paying the ridiculously expensive prices that powerflex charge people!
