Finally fitted the grills I had smoothed and painted in November, plus a matching TRC front lip.

I bought new grills, hence 4 plus months to get them on the car, including a new rear splitter that is also gloss black.

Also given the car it’s year de-tar using Gyeon Q2M which is easily the best tar remover I’ve used.

Cheers, pity it's not getting driven, but it's not the only one

It looks really nice. The rear splitter looks so much better in black, that is the only thing I don't like on the MK8 especially on lighter colour cars like white or silver fox.

I agree, too late to change my mind as I’ve sold the old white one.

Thank you, good to see the “old” mk7 getting a bit of love.

Looks really smart, nice job sir! Lovely to see such attention to details - makes a difference, as does getting rid of the amber indicator bulbs!

The Gyeon stuff is really good, but the best I’ve found is Autobrite Direct’s “Just the Tonic”

She's a pretty one  .... Just one more tweak needed to make it perfect.... stuck on number plates those screws stand out a mile now the rest of the car looks so smooth!

... ohh and can you get white gel covers for the door lock buttons? you've blended so much in (bulbs, rear brake light, etc) these are the only things jumping out at my attention to detail OCD brain!
