Hi all.
Just wondering if any of you have any interesting and unique build threads I could follow on Instagram?

I've been through the entire build thread section on here, so now just looking for anything else that's out there.

I had to close my last account because it slowly filled with hundreds of mk6's that were relatively identical.
If you think yours is different from the rest then post your insta handle below. Be good to get some new content away from off the shelf bolt and stick on mods.

Is it specifically MK6s you're looking for, or a bit of everything? I know what you mean with all the cars being the same, although to be honest there is a little bit of variety around (though not always to my taste) - MK7s also suffer the same thing, where everyone has the same wheels/suspension/cosmetics and only the remap differs!

Doesn't have to be exclusively mk6s. Just fancied seeing something interesting. Some garage builds, people making their own stuff, rather than bolt on kits.
There's plenty of well known vloggers out there I can follow for that content. But would be good to see some hobbyist like myself who are motivated for something more.

Yeah I have. I'm trying to shy away from vloggers, I'm more looking towards people with a hefty project that's their pride and joy. Learning as they go. I'm not looking for polished weld porn.
What I'm looking for isn't a big ask. It's just clearly hard to find these guys tinkering in their sheds and garages.
It seems to be two ends of the spectrum.

No mate, I just have a laptop that I use to view the ecumaster tuning software. I use the stock clocks. At the moment I like the idea of it being a sleeper. And I'm far too poor for an adu7 dash.

Ahh fair enough mate! I know what you mean regarding the dash ££££££££
Was looking into a tablet dash or using the stoc dash but a small tablet to display all the engine monitoring gauges etc

With it all mapped well with saftwy cuts you shouldn't really need any extra gauges. Oil temp would probably be the only one I can see being of use.

Yeah that’s probably true but it’s for piece of mind that’s all haha

Majority of the time it's for show. Unless you know the correct oil pressure from cold and when up to temp, and look at it whilst driving hard... Which you won't.

The peace of mind is having an ecu that has the ability to process and act upon more data in a millisecond, than you can in your entire existence.
