Hi all, so I saw this video of a modded ST, and he had that chameleon style tint on his front windscreen, it was actually quite nice and not too in your face. Im not looking to get it done personally, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not there is a % of tint already applied to our windscreens? Its a bit of random one, but hey, isnt that what these forums are for?

You could check it yourself by sitting in the car, opening the door and comparing one side of the A pillar to the other.

Im wondering if anyone knew the percentage, I can see it is tinted slightly already, Im guessing that would be the acoustic laminate? Im not that lazy to not step in and out of my car! 😂 I just know there are different % tinting laws for each window...

Yes, glass itself will already reduce light throughput and then OEM tints are applied. Most of which are on the legal thresholds.

I would advise against any tints on any windows in front of the B pillar.
