Just thought I would copy this idea from another forum I'm on, so what did you do to your ST or other car this week?
I painted and fitted my RS splitter, it was quite badly stone chipped when I bought it so it got a few coats of gloss black and I was able to use a ramp in work yesterday morning to fit it
Here is the result
Then I gave it a wash
I also removed the wind deflectors turning the car into summer mode lol
Changed my coolant and found out water housing is corroded, removed stone guard for when splitter arrives, removed side stripes, cleaned her, and recoated front grill but ran out of paint!
How did you fit your splitter mate? I tried doing mine this weekend. But where the ends of the raised bit on the splitter finish there was a gap between that and the lower grille surround. Meaning you can see a bit of the white paintwork through the little gap? Any ideas? Did you snap/cut all of the plastic lugs off the bottom of the bumper?
I left all my clips so yeah you can still see through the gap, but you would not see it unless you were 5 inches tall, you can't notice it at all when your standing so I kept it as it is
Sadly the most I did this week was look at car cleaning products! Oh and look at pics of when i gave her a good clean last weekend and now she's filthy once again
Changed the Oil and power steering fluid. And bought a Strut brace. Plus finished painting my Mondeo calipers... Would of cleaned the car too but its been constantly raining bad times.
Bought an aftermarket ECU, HKS dump valve and a couple of replacement coolant hoses. Also decided to convert to cable throttle so have started buying bits for that. And am now eagerly awaiting its return from the garage with the MTX conversion up and running
