I've had my mk7 fiesta ST for about a year now and I was looking into doing some small mods.
So I was wondering what you guys changed about your cars first.
Exhaust? Wheels? Wrap? Suspension?
What sounds best?
What fits and looks good?
What's the experience like after a good amount...
Hello, I've come across a really good deal on MK7 fiesta ST wheels, they have an offset 47,5. Stock MK8 wheels have an offset 42,5. I wanted to ask, will the MK7 wheels clear the brakes on Fiesta ST MK8?
I made the mistake of buying a K-Sport 330mm 8 pot big brake kit assuming a spacer would let them fit under the stock wheels. Wrong!!! The calipers are huge!!
My fronts are spaced out 15mm and even when I tried swapping for a 20mm spacer from the rear I still need another couple of...
Hello everyone, I am doing some research on a second set of wheels for next winter, I know it's early but found a good deal on some alloys and wondering if anyone else has this configuration or some knowledge to confim that they will fit properly. They are 7J instead of 7.5J, 17 inch, 4x108, et...
I'm in the process of trying to sort out a set of wheels and tyres for the winter, obviously I need a set of wheels that are TPMS compatible.
So are all Ford alloy wheels TPMS compatible and how do I tell if they are or aren't?
So I'm looking for peoples experience that have been down the same...
Has anyone run a set of wheels without the TPMS sensors installed on them on the mk8? Im looking into buying a set of winter wheels and was hoping not to spend the extra ££ on getting a new set of sensors or getting the oem ones transferred. I can deal with having a warning light on dash if...
I've seen other threads on this where people have managed to get Ford to refurb their wheels for £55 - sounds like a bargain! But calling around SE London areas/ Essex I'm struggling to find a single dealer that does it - most have a 'preferred refurbisher' that quote around £90 a...
Right Guys and Gals, just wanted to check if anyone else has a corrosion issue with their alloy not around the valve but the wheel in general. I have noticed a few of mine have various areas of paint bubbling and in some cases the surface damage is not immediately obvious. I am certain Ford...
Wheels are in need of a refurb. But Id like a different colour than standard. I really like Audis Nardo grey. Would that work? Then paint the chrome fog surrounds Nardo Grey too? Never seen flat grey coloured wheels on a fez before.
Otherwise the generic Anthracite grey or possible a satin bronze?
I took the plunge earlier in the year and bought a K-Sport 330mm 8 pot big brake kit. I thought with standard wheels that with 15mm spacers on the front it would fit but the front of the caliper bashes the back of the spokes. Even trying with a 20mm spacer borrowed from the back it still needs...
So, i've been going around and trying to find winter wheels for the new fiesta. Most websites have not implemented the new fiesta yet, so I get mostly zero returns when querying for it.
I'm trying to find aftermarket wheels but I am not entirely sure what would fit. A 205/45/17 would that...
Wondering if any owners in the North East have had their alloys refurbed and resprayed. Currently got a blacked out ST3 but the wheels are tatty and need doing. Anyone got any contacts/recommendations?
Hi all, Ive searched for the answer but to no avail. Can anyone tell me if I was to buy brand new tyre pressure sensors (TPMS), can they be fitted to aftermarket alloys? I have a set of Fifteen 52 Turbomacs and would like to instal them.. I have a bit of OCD with annoying warning lights and if I...
Just interested to know what are the widest wheels you can fit on an ST without rubbing or too much poke?
If you've fitted some wide aftermarket wheels I'd be intersted t to know your setup?
I'm looking at doing track time at ford fair and I'm wondering what tires people are using, I used to run parada spec2's but I can't seem to find them anywhere to fit my standard alloys now.
Any advice would be a great help
Firstly, thanks to all the contributors on this forum I have chosen my new car. A ST2 with style pack and sat nav upgrades.
Got a great deal considering it had less than 12,000 on it.
Truly love this car! So nimble and fun on the back roads!
The inevitable has happened. I've given...
Yesterday I had 3 of my wheels refurbished as there was quite a few scuffs from the previous owner and they've done a great job on them! However, looking at the driver side (front was refurbished, rear wasn't) I'm convinced they're a different colour. I know that Ford don't have a code for it...
I understand 205 will be better for grip but will it catch the arches on a car lowered around 50-60mm. Hoping to hear some replies from experience. I'd prefer 205 but if its going to be impractical id take 195
