I need help, neither me or my foreman’s can find the issue, I was driving the car and then sat in a parking garage with my buddies, started revving it until redline to impress my buddies where it would back fire then after I did that let it sit at idle. Me and my buddies smelt a foul smell coming from the car but couldn’t tell what it was, I shut the car off. After about 10 mins of bs with my buddies we went to go leave and the car just cranks but won’t start, I got it to fire once after several and several tries but it sounded like crap when it started so I shut it back off.I have a custom tune im in the process of datalogging for it’s a 93 e30 tune and i was running a log map for the e30. I have a catted downpipe but I checked it and it’s fine, turbo spins fine no play. Havent checked the plugs cuz I can’t find a long enough socket for some reason. Replaced purge valve and evap canister, checked fuel up to the rail and it was getting fuel. No issues in the engine oil. Tried unplugging multiple intake sensors and what not nothing has worked. I previously had codes p0131, p0420, p0456, p04DB, and p1450. I also had p1575 and p06E9 that occurred after clearing codes when vehicle wasn’t running.

Foul smell could be cat. So has that been blown/cracked. Issues with lambda sensors.

Could be one of many issues tbh. Crank sensor?
Have you connected to forscan to read all the fault codes. Hopefully can give you more info.
I checked the cat and it looks normal, I have to read up on the lambda sensors I’m not quite sure what those are, I need to test for power and resistance at the crank sensor for sure also

The p06E9 means the PCM didn't detect engine rotation, so
Take the battery off, and charge it up, this would be my first choice as a low battery will throw all sorts of codes.
Read up on all the codes you listed and go through each item:
p0131 means o2 sensor
p0420 is a catalytic converter error
p0456 is error in the fuel tank pressure/vacuum
p04DB is a PCV crankcase ventilation error
p1450 is excessive vacuum in the fuel tank.

You may be lucky and it just be a failing or flat battery otherwise check these systems one by one.
Martin.

I have the battery charging now, thank you. I’m going to go down through this list

Given you did manage to start the car after several attempts. And it ran very rough. This tells me it did turn. Could even have slipped on the timing, broken the crank sensor, hence the no turning error, hopefully no internal damage ie; bent valves.
Get the timing covers off (not the quickest of jobs either) and check the timing with a timing tool on the cam pulleys.
