Yeah, were I just going for road use, i'd go Mfactory. But, I use my car on track relatively regularly and the Wavetrac has the advantage of being able to lock when load/traction is missing from one wheel. In the same scenario for Mfactory/Quaife, they essentially become an open diff.
I would say this scenario generally occurs when riding the rumble kerbs on track and the inside wheel may be skipping and losing traction.

I understand, I considered a wavetrak but my needs were opposite.

All I can say is any LSD is a great investment in these cars.

And what are the differences (apart from the price) between the Mfactory and the Quaife ATB?

Nothing, that you can see or feel.

The prices may be more alike if it wasnt for Mountune having exclusive distribution rights on the quaife.

On whim I bought the Quaife from MT when they had 25% off but returned it, regretting it now though.
