Swapped out the battery yesterday and been trying to find out if the car has a battery management reset process (or not)?

I have tried to search here but must be blind if there is a process. Searching in general online/YouTube comes up with processes for other models of Fiesta.

Vehicle has a rear fog light button:
1. Enter vehicle and perform the steps 2 to 4 within 10 seconds.
2. Switch ignition ON, engine OFF (Position II).
3. Push and release the rear fog light switch five times.
4. Push and release the hazard warning light switch three times.
5. If successful the charging system warning light on the instrument cluster will blink three times within the next 15 seconds.
6. BMS reset done
Vehicle does NOT have a rear fog light button:
1. Enter vehicle and perform the steps 2 to 4 within 10 seconds.
2. Switch ignition ON, engine OFF (Position II).
3. Pull and release high beam switch five times.
4. Press and release brake pedal three times.
5. If successful the charging system warning light on the instrument cluster will blink three times within the next 15 seconds.
6. BMS reset done

Thanks @Hype® , the first method worked perfectly.

I found the other method of flashing the high beam last night which didn't work.

Battery management system, as a battery ages the car will treat the battery differently with regards to alternator output as it senses its degrading charge limit ,a reset allows a new battery to recieve full charge again . Most car manufacturers also allow a change in specification as part of the BMS reset, if your using the same spec battery you shouldnt need to worry about that part, if you have changed the spec of the battery you may also need to use software like Forscan to code that new battery spec too.

I was reading about this before, but from what I could see, FORscan took out lists of pre-set battery sizes/capacity, and the BMS in the Fiesta won't pickup or adapt to the higher spec battery.

I have fitted this 574 402 075 | Varta Automotive which is of both higher CCA and capacity to the factory fitted Ford Varta battery.

I haven't attempted to change anything in FORscan if the old lists were removed, and the only thing that I had possibly thought about doing was to increase the State of Charge to something other than 80%.
