Good to have the BTCC back again and a great start to the season for all the NAPA Racing Ford Focus in difficult conditions. The car is definitely on the pace and the driver line up is strong with Ash Sutton, Dan Rowbottom and Dan Cammish, who had a brilliant day with the two wins.

Shambles in race1, giving Hill a penalty for Sutton cutting across him made no sense.
Yeah very strange decision, it looked like a racing incident to me. At least he didn't get second place taken off him.
I watched a bit of race 1 and then turned off for the rest of the day when cry baby, I mean Sutton, threw his toys out yet again. And then the penalty, what!!?? you can see he's steering across the track to close the gap, what does he expect?! Hill was going straight! Sutton was turning and in the wrong.

Yesterday was another good day for the NAPA Racing team especially Cammish and Sutton, not a good day for Rowbottom though after being involved in the race one incident.

Another good day for the NAPA Racing team at Snetterton yesterday.
The Focus looks really strong this year with three pole position in a row. Ash Sutton was the main man getting pole and two race wins.
Gutted for Dan Cammish in the last race.

Sadly the BTCC is fast losing its appeal and the ITV commentary is awful.
Have to agree as above, it's getting terrible now. Only good thing was in race 3 where there were a bunch of focus' and a bunch of BMW and a couple of Honda, all running together in their own little team groups. Great for their office walls, but I'm losing interest as I am with the scripted F1. Might look at the formula-E when it's back on...

I personally think Alan Gow does a great job making the BTCC stay competitive and not a precession like F1.
Each to their own, but how comes one car can out run the others with different tyres and no use of hybrid power? I guess Alan Gow is happier every time Sutton wins, as Sutton put's on his knee pads...

I preferred watching the mini races, for such 'slow' cars, it was very entertaining. Now that's proper racing.

Exactly my thoughts, NAPA are the new Team Dynamics.

Knee pads aside, the mini's were brilliant. Love classic racing series, Goodwood and have occasionally watched classic touring cars at Cadwell.
