So, I can get my hands on a MTX75 box from a 2.0L Mondeo. What else do I need to do to swop out the IB5 box in the Fiesta.
and that is what im talking whole time, and no one trusts ...New mounts and possibly drive shafts???
I am fitting one from a focus RS mk1 in my escort turbo (aswell as the focus RS engine) and just need to run custom drive shafts and mounts and modify the inner arch a little to get it to fit, my guess is if the MTX is fitted to mondy's with the duratec then that would be the clutch to use, looking at it the big ££££'s will be the shafts i have been quoted 300 to 500 for these. Jano at oddkidcreations as done a few on these on various fords so might be worth a call, i can't vouch for the work cos i aint seen it, but i know he uses drag race spec drive shafts not cut n shut.
to be honest unless you have big torque i would spend you money elsewhere, a lot of rs turbo lads are using the ib5 to quite big power levels at the moment (300 ish) but rebuild will no doubt be frequent.

as i told you over email,I tend to think so to Josey, Quaiffe diff and uprated diff bearings is probably the route I am going to take.
