I've got EBC plain discs all round with yellowstuff pads which were a good step up from the stock discs and pads.

I'm not a fan of the noise you get with some grooved/drilled discs, I would go with grooved rather than drilled as drilled discs are noted for cracking no matter who makes them.

I do not know what is the best front brake disks, but Ford offers the Tarox bake disks for the original brake calipers. I would upgrade the pads at the same time + the brake fluid. It all depends on what kind of usage you are planning to do with your car.


While Mountune offers lower cost alternative:

I tried grooved EBC disks on my remapped BMW 330D but hated the noise - eventually settled for plain disks and Tarox Strada pads - very good combo for road use IMO
