Thaught it was about time I made one of these so here goes

The car was pretty much stock when I picked it up 2nd hand with low miles
I said to myself “I’ll not modify this one”
Hahaha that lasted a week

First up was a induction kit which added some noise to the car

This was ok but I wanted more from the car and I knew the plan was to track the car regularly

next up was cooling mods , Intercooler , mountune radiator and oil cooler

also added a CP lower engine mount while the car was all in bits

now the car was mapped with peron stg2

next up was handling mods

full powerflex kit on the whole car …..not a fun job

The car was now ready for its first trackday at Blyton park

the car was brilliant all day but the EBC yellow pads didn’t last long and ended the day far too quickly due to melting

they were fine on the road but couldn’t take the heat at Blyton, so upgraded to EBC RP1 race pad for the next time out

interior mods next
airtec roll cage , coolerworx shifter and corbeau clubsport seat

these made a massive difference to how the car felt to drive and I can honestly say the coolerworx shifter Is the best mod I’ve done to any car , it completely changed the was the car feels and drives

2nd outing to Blyton next

the car was much better with the new pads and handling mods and ran faultless all day

now I was looking at longevity of the engine with tracking the car so I installed a water meth system from cooling mist to help protect the engine from detonation when on hot track days

this was a fun mod to do as it added its own unique pops from the exhaust and looking at the ign timing on forscan it had increased , this told me the engine was happy

so send the car back to Blyton to test it out

Top spec car, looking forward to future posts and upgrades.

You have a few mods I've been thinking about i.e Coolerworx shifter, Radiator and BC Racing Coilovers.

When you fitted the radiator did you remove front of the car or slide it up and in from underneath ?

Thanks for starting up a build thread mate.
thanks mate

the rad all come out the top , if I remember, there is a fitting video on YouTube from a American guy

it’s not a bad job

Epic build mate! Looks like you've put a lot of thought and effort into your mods to get it to where it is.
Out of interest, where is your injection point for the meth? Turbo elbow? Or cold side pipe before the temp sensor?
it’s in the cold side pipe just before the throttle valve , I didn’t want the TIP sensor getting coated in fluid as I’ve heard they don’t last long with meth on them

Tried out a set of Toyo r888r tyres too and they were great , lasted 90 miles and were down to the wear marks 😅

next up was a big change to the car, added 30% larger fuel injectors and a tune from TRS
Also waxed the car with auto glym HD wax

Wanted to change up the fiesta a bit for next years trackdays so placed an order for a S280 turbo

after a long wait it finally turned up

fitted it myself, wasent too bad of a job
Also while the car was in bits (again ! ) replaced a leaking rocker cover gasket

Automotive tire Motor vehicle Wheel Automotive lighting Bicycle part

Automotive tire Camera Camera lens Automotive exhaust Camera accessory

Replaced all the gaskets with genuine ford and a new oil feed pipe

so there is a VT330R turbo in my possession looking for a new home …….

Currently in the process of tuning the car , had a few issues with overboost but getting there
The noise this turbo makes is unreal , the sounds do not suit a fiesta that’s for sure , sounds more like a big turbo drift car

bring on next years track time , the car should be ready

time to close the garage now as we’re expecting out first child in the next few weeks

Need to get a fiesta 1 too 😂😂😂

Musical instrument Automotive lighting Hood Motor vehicle Grille

The EP resonated cat back exhaust fitted , looks amazing with the v band clamps and fancy welding

sold as track friendly without a resonator so should be fine for track use , only had the car static reving as weather is crap !
But so far sounds great , not too loud but I know it’s there being a 3” system

I'd not took much notice of EP stuff but that looks quality, what's it sound like compared to the Milltek non-res race you had?
Hi mate

it’s a similar volume to to milltek , just a deeper tone . I’ve only reved the car in the garage as the weather is horrible here , so haven’t had chance to take it for a spin yet

but so far I’m impressed with it , the build quality is spot on , the best I’ve seen ….. and I’ve had more than 1 exhaust on this car now😂😂😂

Took the car for a quick spin today , the EP exhaust is brilliant it’s a full 3” system with a deep tone and on full throttle is quieter than my old milltek, even up on the rpm

realy impressed with it , will have no issues on track and no issues with head aches

If anyone is considering picking up 1 I’d highly recommend it 👌
