Awesome weekend, will post some pics later. Top performance by the Corvettes, met Jan Magnussen before the race - he seemed not to understand what I meant when I told him he had the best job in the world!!!

Nice to see Peugeot getting the their fair reward for ****ty sportsmanship. Shocking behaviour.

And also great to see the Ford GT making it all the way through, sounded absolutely stunning on the straight up to Arnage.

We went down quickest way - autoroute. Some go scenic way, but we wanted to get there, get pitched and enjoy a beer!

had a look at some of the Ferraris for the warm up race, including one already fresh from a scrape!

Then open pitlane - allows for nice close ups

Historic race is always amazing, the cars sound FABULOUS.

Though this D-Type was a little ill...

Cracker of an old Corvette

Then on the way to watch the race start, found a Cossie Anglia! Le Mans is always FULL of delightful car porn and lovely surprises like this one. Highly recommended.

Race start...

Then up to the grandstand in the wee small hours. Had a few beers so most pics were blurry. Got this nice shot a 'vette in the pits.

Nice spot of breakfast for last morning.

Then down to the straight between end of Mulsanne and Arnage

Then finally a spot of time at the Mulsanne corner before heading home.

Le Mans is a fantastic trip. It's up there with Nurburgring as a Petroholic's must-do-before-you-die. There are tons of stunning cars that make their way down there, and there's a terrific sense of camaraderie among the Brits on the French soil.

And then there's the noise of the Corvettes.....

what a cracking le mans !!! watched all qualifying, warm up and the whole 24 hours

so glad the no2 audi won with the sad loss of the other 2 audi with the hugh crashes glad both are okay and well

i am so disappointed aswell was with the 2 ASTON MARTIN AMR-ONES one lasting a lap and the other 3 laps due to a water pump or alternator area problem with changing materials before the race which then failed a part further in the engine but it would of given AMR lots of data from practice and qualifying. see what happens in 3 weeks at imola. both astons in total lapped the le mans circuit i think 120-125 laps in total which the engine has never done. but knowing prodrive/amr they will sort it.

peugeot driving standards need to be improve blocking the lead audi when the peugeot 2-3 laps down on it, i wish dr. ullrich wolfgang went down to peugeot for a nice quiet chat !!!!

all in all one hell of amazing le mans hoping to do it nxt year !!!!

Totally agree. They were BANG out of order. Can't believe Anthony Davidson would behave like that.

Those Audi's looked like Jets.
