Fair enough - in the instance with my mate's car, the lights etc were all fine at idle speeds, the issue was that when engine revs increased, the voltage being produced was increasing dramatically. That appears not to be the case with your car, so I guess you can eliminate that as a possibility. Worth checking anyway.

Did anyone solve this problem? I experience the same thing, when I rev the engine just a tiny bit above idle it stops flickering.
Like most 'quirks' with the car I learnt to live with it. 4years down the line it has never got any worse.

On a similar note, I had the pleasure of driving our 10 year old Renault Kangoo van the other evening at work and that really put light-dimming into perspective. Every minute or so the lights would dim to the point you felt they were about to switch off then brighten back up again. Seemed to be in time with a relay clicking on and off (possibly glow plug circuit, but did it for the full journey so not sure). Gotta love French electrics.
