We used to have a Chrysler Grand Voyager (when the kids were small) with limo tints. Absolute nightmare at night, couldn't see a thing when reversing.

SWMBO, had never had a car with dark tints before and gets on fine with them even at night! I’ve been unlucky enough to drive vans with no rear view other than wing mirrors and anything is better than that. My car has a rear view camera that replaces the rear view mirror. Very clever, it even dims headlights and the size of objects correlates with the the size in the wing mirrors and the view is wider than you’d get via mirror and rear screen.
