I currently have a 20 plate ST. Can someone please explain how you do a manual start with the keyless fob. I've watched couple of YouTube videos but there is no round plastic cover on steering column, like in my previous MK7. Manual isn't really clear and can't find anything about it.

The key needs to be placed in front of the gear lever, this is where the transponder is located
