Reminds me of '40/50' years ago when you could have a Ford in a few weeks if you were flexible but if you specced it as wanted a 9/12 month delivery was given.
I've chased my build date up as I was told it would be built this month for September delivery. I've had an email back and been told there's now a build date of 16th Sept for delivery 20th Oct to the dealer.
My Car is awaiting delivery to dealer on transporter from Dagenham, not sure how long that should take🤞
i have my Vin number though (hopefully this week)
My March 22 order apparently built and ready to leave ir has left. Said 17th Sept delivery looking likely.
Guy at the dealership must think I'm a right twunt popping in every couple of weeks. Had a green 3 door sat in the showroom looks alrite for a dumpy little hatch back. Properly looking forward to it
So just been told by my dealer that “production due 1st September, delivery early October” and have been given a chassis number. Does this sound correct? Is there a way to track etc
Compound in after shipping will probably mean it’s in the compound after leaving the ship, it’s worth bearing in mind though that MME isn’t accurate for anything other than a Mach-e
So apparently my car is built but hasn’t been released because it awaits a part. Couldn’t tell me which or when it’ll be ready. I’ve been keeping an eye on Autotrader in case another white 3 door comes up and I’ve noticed the prices have gone up from 26/27k to 29k.
Only white ones are used so that’s probably why. I keep a tab on AT most days, if I see a white one pop up I’ll ping you a message. What dealer have you got an order in with?
