ah that makes sense. A month from production to dealer seems good though. Hopefully i wont have to wait much longer

Great news. I’m in a similar boat to yourself. Mine sat in Dagrail since mid November, only arrived at dealer Monday morning. Picking up this Saturday, not fussed either for new plate as I’ll be keeping it for 3-4 years.

I've just ordered a new ST 😀. Currently driving a 66 plate blue ST which I had planned to run forever but decided to get a new one so it's a few more years before I am faced with the decision to get a non-ST! Went to look at one at the dealer but it was sold but they have got me one sitting somewhere awaiting dealer allocation which I can get in about 2 weeks. Reading this thread I now see it may be longer! If I was willing to have a non-green one they had some on site. I was also awkward because I wanted heated seats. The prebuilt one had these and also the SYNC3 upgrade which I wasn't fussed about but the price to change worked out and I'm not waiting for a build.

That is identical to the dates that l was told, firstly l had a 95bhp ST-LINE X on order in red ordered by dealer last March Mrs chose this model but I was sick and tired of driving her current car with this amount of power a 95 bhp ST-LINE my previous cars had 330/400 bhp gave up feeding my ego with fast Audi's made some good money from the sale of my 2 previous cars so end of that. The ST3 was also ordered by the dealer last March
I honestly can't wait to get in seat of the ST3 and l know l will love it just curious to actually find out what has been deleted from its spec l only signed up for a 26 month 0% agreement but l may buy it all depends on reliability
My 2013 Focus ST3 had a lot of electrical issues plus Ford where dreadful in dealing with these issues so that was the end of my love affair with Ford
Axle tramp was another reason l got shot of the Focus
I was going to pay for it up front, then they mentioned the 0% deal, so put £13000 deposit down and nothing to pay for two years, then the remaining £15500 is due, or simply give it back and walk away. I invested the £15500 in Ford Money 2 year saving bond at 4.7% so that gets me nearly £1500 interest, so to me that makes the car £1500 cheaper ! 5 weeks I have to wait until I get me hands on Kermi , I popped to the dealers this morning
to give him the once over ....

I haven't done PCP, so pardon my ignorance. If you decide to not keep the car, does that mean you have paid roughly £540 a month for 2 years? Please, don't take offence. Its a genuine question. @mightbemeangreen
if you hand it back you are not liable to pay the final payment. Or you can sell it yourself, pay off the finance and potentially make a profit

So the £15.5k remaining. Is that the future price after 2 years they expect the car to be worth? Meaning the £13k is the depreciation?
yep pretty much. say the car is worth 28,500 in this case. You finance 13k and they give you a figure that they think it will be worth in 2 years. Normally the 'final payment' or 'balloon'. With PCP you can either hand it back if its worth less than they guaranteed. Or you can sell at any point privately and pay of the remaining finance amount

Personally l wouldn't buy the Fiesta ST outright not great residuals just my thoughts mate l went for a short term deal as l intend to back to Audi or even a used 718 in 2 years time l cancelled my RS3 8Y Vorsprung due to the dreadful lead time l cancelled 3 weeks ago after 16 months of waiting my build week went to 00 it was the first week in April but would have went on through to June/July then there was impending facelift looming so no brainer but to cancel
I fancied a wee bit of fun in a small compact fast car the fiesta fitted the bill l did look at a VW Polo Gti fully loaded but l won't pay silly APR's we all look upon cars and how to buy/ finance them differently
you could look at it like that I suppose. For me, I was going to stump up £28500 a few days before delivery. Then I get told "why not pay just £13000 on delivery and pay the balance in 24 months time? Interest free ! So as interest rates are up on savings and Ford Money were offering 4.7% for a two year fixed rate bond it was a no brainer, basically get £1500 cash back as interest in 24months. I'm pretty sure in two years time my car with maximum expected mileage at maybe 8000miles will easily be worth more than the £15500 to pay. If car prices were to crash and it was only worth £10000 I would just hand the keys back and walk away thinking I had hired a new Fiesta ST for as you say £540 a month/ £125 a week.

m 60 in May !! fed up of seeing nothing on the roads ( and especially down my road) apart from greys, silvers, blacks the odd blue and whites ! I like the 70s and 80s cars where we had colours ! Mexicos and Capris in Monza Blue, signal greens, yellows, maize, signal orange etc etc etc ! So Im going to brighten my street up with a shocking mean green and $od them !! ( as it is Ive already got a White Focus RS, a white escort RS1600 and a white GR Yaris coming in March too so desperately need some colour in my life!!) If they did the silver ST that you can get abroad I would have maybe gone for that ! Red is a no no, as you say Black too high maintenance, dark grey magnetic too much like metallic tarmac ! when cars had colour.......
I like it in silver.... a lot !!

Looks very nice in silver and in boundless blue my favourite 2 colours for the fiesta l get ye with meangreen it's not me mate l am all for bold colours besides l wouldn't give Ford £800 odd quid to paint a car the size of the Fiesta Had 2
Audi Exclusive colours Voodoo blue and Riviera Blue but at least they where rare on the roads still a rip off though
The only way I'd take meangreen if it came with a panoramic roof lol my favourite option on any car
