Hi all,

A YouTuber said in their MK8.5 ST review that the new Ford Performance seats sit higher than the previous Recaros.

For those who have experience with both, do you agree with this assessment?

If anyone could provide measurements from the ground to the rear bottom of the seat for both versions, with the seats set to their lowest setting, it'd be awesome.

Not going to be easy to get an accurate measurement of that.

I dont agree, both seats were adjustable, cant say Ive noticed much difference in height. Im sure someone will prove me wrong!

The seats lowest setting is too high for me on the mk8 recaros. Yet my mk4 focus st is very low in comparison.
In my mk8 the gear lever is way to low feels like I’m reaching in the footwell for it.

if there was an idiot guide to gear lever extensions for these is definatley purchase one
