Speedline Turini 16" 7j et42 in anthracite. I couldn't find a set of 15" wheels and nobody could tell me when they would have any in stock.

So not much of an update, managed to kerb a wheel and lose a inlet manifold bolt. The old girl has done a fair few miles over the last few weeks and hasn't missed a beat.

checked over all the inlet manifold bolts and they were all loose, torqued them all back up to spec. I've ordered some loctite and will use that on them once it turns up.

I think he is going to use your map as the starting point, wants me to fit mine and drive down on the base map. There's a escort rs turbo in before me.

Well,

I would like to say all went well yesterday but unfortunately it didn't.

The mapping side went well, massive shout out to Driftingforlife for helping Leighton out of a sticky hole of my own doing.

However, my coolant tank has sprung a leak under high temp pressure so the tank has been ordered today and it was found that my engine moves massively under load which I think stems from a pot hole that I hit a week or so go. The same pothole has done some damage to one of my wheels so it all adds up.

I have ordered a new set of vibra technics engine mounts to replace both of the main engine mounts, I think that the car is still on its original mounts so that makes them 15yrs old now.

I have a couple of kinks to work out on the SCS Delta ECU before I fit it for good which will include moving the battery to the rear so I have somewhere to mount the ecu.

On a slightly more positive note the car drove so much better on the new map, was so much more eager under load and I've already said to myself that cams are next.

They are old cars now, its only going to get more costly to keep them going sadly...totally worth it though.

Was there anything else up with the delta apart from the speedo & warning light?

It might need the cold start setting up, it was still up to temp when we started. Will have to sort the EML out tho, can't be doing with the hassle of swapping in the original ECU come MOT time.

Made a start on the mounts today, drivers side is in and swapped over. Removed the old coolant tank ready for the new on turning up but unfortunately one of the overflow hard lines snapped so I've bought new ones to replace both of them. Rain stopped play for today so plan is to do the upper gearbox tomorrow and then wait for parts to turn up.
