Just changed my reg plate lights to LED’s but the unit housing the bulb won’t stay in now. It’s being held in by a metal prong and that’s about it, once fidgeted with to get these out the metal prong isn’t as tight anymore so the fitting is loose if you get what I mean. Any ideas how to get this stupid design back in secure again?

You must bend the metal clip ,until it is sitting right. With a pair of plaiers. Pliers.

Make sure you have the plastic lug ( opposite ) end to the metal clip located correctly above the plastic housing as if its not, the clip won't have anything to tension against
