Recently loaded on a stage 1 map from Peron and since then the start stop doesn't work at all. Even after a BMS reset and a new battery. Is that a consequence of a map?

Also, more worrying is that when the ignition is on with engine off the car now says it has low oil. Iv checked it with the dipstick and its full. Anyone else has this?

The lack of stop start sounds like it's been 'mapped out' or whatever you'd call it... Basically in the same way it would when switching to sport mode or manually switching it off. Not so sure about the oil light though...

Sounds like Peron have disabled it, however they should of advised you of this. Flash the car to stock and see if you still get the low oil warning, if you no longer get this, you need to contact Peron as their file could be causing an issue.

I have informed Peron, waiting to hear back. Attempted to install the original map only for a message pop up saying

"Although the file you choose to program should be read of this ECU, it shows checksum related errors! "

anyone know if that's a normal ignorable message? new to mapping and not enjoying it at all right now

Don't flash/ignore anything about checksums. It could potentially brick the ECU.

It means that the file contents doesn't match the checksum that was built for it. It could just be the way flashing works, it could also be a corrupted file.
