Hey all, it’s been a while lol is there anywhere in the club that I can purchase club window stickers for the ST? I’m pretty sure there was ages ago where we could purchase them from the club.

Thue club shop used to be run separately by someone, off her own back, whilst the club was still owned by Jim. However, since the buyout the shop was no longer continued, unfortunately. There is however some talk about this in another thread, but not sure what the progress is on that, as I believe VS would have to give the go ahead and sort it all out via a trade account.

I had a conversation with VSAdmin about a week ago and they're fine with us getting some stickers made up. I contacted DMB to see if they can produce some for us.

I haven't heard back from them yet but I'll give them a nudge next week.

Update: I spoke to DMB today - they were really helpful and had a lot of good advice, so hopefully should have some designs coming over shortly. I'll keep everyone posted..

Just had these sent over from DMB.. they seemed to know a lot of the history about the club and these are what they used to make.

What does everyone think? They don't match the logo here, but perhaps making the main text italic and increasing the size of the ST bit would improve them?

I much prefer the smaller 'ST', but without the '.com'.

Perhaps a poll might be handy?

I also prefer the ST the same size as the other letters. Easier to line up when fitting on the car.

They were always all the same font size prior, which I prefer.

As for removing the '.com' you could always just cut that part off before applying.

One of the things that was mentioned when I spoke to DMB was that the "ST" bit in the website logo doesn't match the actual ST badge. The original stickers that they sent over has the correct ST logo.

Both of the following options have merits..

1. Use the actual site logo because (regardless of the technical accuracy of the logo) that's the club brand, or
2. Use the originals with the correct ST logo which are potentially easier to fit (plus they highlight the website address)

As @Tsotsi8787 suggested, perhaps a poll is a good idea?

I've one of the last sets before they stopped being sold that I still haven't got around to fitting, they're like the ones fa13sta posted. Looks better than the site logo, that'd be a pain to line up and would look a bit off as well.

I prefer the 2nd option but that's because I used to have the old stickers, and I also like the fact that people can still see a forum exists.

The site logo looks pretty cool, but I think the st should probably be in the "correct" font and the same size as the rest so I would go with option 2 as well.

I was just going to post that as option 3 - correct ST logo, all the same size but text in italic 👍
The different colour options for the ST is a nice touch

Great minds think alike! 😆

I've asked DMB if they can provide an updated version with italic text. It seems like it could be a good compromise between the old versions DMB have and the current site logo..
