Right, this should be an easy one. Today I used my satnav for the second time. Trouble is, I couldn't seem to turn the radio off without also turning off the satnav. Can someone tell me how I can just have the satnav running without being distracted by the radio?

They're on different volume outputs I believe, so could turn the radio right down and then when the satnav gives a command, turn that up.

Or switch to a different aux output, but not have anything connected (USB/Aux/Bluetooth).

That's correct. You can turn the radio volume and the Navigation voice commands separately. Every car Navigation System has this function.

Thought it might have something to do with volume. Pity Ford didn't just provide an on off switch for the radio without having to mess around with volume controls.

You can switch output source, like I mentioned, to one you don't use (Aux button on dash).
