Did a touring holiday in the ST.
Drove to "The Great British Car Journey" Museum near Belper then followed the A6 as best we could to Carlisle taking in a few places on the way. From Carlisle to York through the North Pennines.

Gave the car a paint correction with my new Makita 18v DA , then cleaned/washed my Classic Additions car cover . Sorry about the blur in the images, trying to protect my neighbours privacy.

Wheel alignment done correctly this time. Had it done by another garage last week and it handled like a pig on roller skates.

Sat in the seat and watched it hit 30,000 miles. Not bad for a March 2017 ST. Also I seem to have attracted all the dust in the area so decided it needs a bath soon.

Finally got around to putting the PPF to my headlights, only managed to have the time to do the one unfortunately. It didn’t go too bad considering it was my first attempt. As soon as you heat it up, it becomes much easier to work with. I’m going to give it 24hours to bond and hopefully the haziness will clear!
Passed its MOT, no advisories. Had a wheel alignment done as I’ve swapped out the front arms and drop links a while ago.

Pre surgery wash, dropping off for some exhaust welding tomorrow. The custom cat I had made 8 years ago has cracked around the weld to the oflexi making the engine sound like a 2 litre lawnmower basically. Needed sorting before my trip up northern Scotland

Paid it off finally, been a long 4 years (plus covid break) nice feeling. Going to keep using it as a daily, but might get a Mk6 to have fun with on the weekends. Oh and watched it get more and more filthy as I refuse to wash it in the heat of the day, need a cooler day.

Just ordered 4x PS5’s for my MK7 ST with fitting due for this coming Monday.
Slightly annoying as my current PS3’s still have plenty of tread on them but they’re quite old now and the sidewalls are starting to crack quite badly….can’t put a price on safety really and I’m looking forward to seeing what these PS5’s are like. 👍🏻

OMG what a productive tiring day I’ve had! 😅

So, it started with having brand new PS5’s fitted to my MK7 ST,. Once they were done I then went home and fitted my new set of EBC disks and yellow stuff pads all round. The rear slider pins were seized solid in place and were a bugger to get out (thank god for having a vice!😅)

I then took the car round the block to gently bed them all in and I’ve noticed a very nice peddle feel which is very reassuring. 😊

Finally gave the motor a bath, not bad for a quick bucket and hose wash. Needed it.
