Took the beast on a 300 mile road trip to collect yet another new Potenza. Plus added to the caked on dirt already piling up. I'm still after any new Potenza's if anyone's got any, I think I might stick to buying just new/un used ones and some of the used one's I've been offered are over-described rubbish.

Sorry to be 'that guy', but any trade/work transactions cannot take place via the forum unless done so through a sponsorship account.

Just a heads up.

This thread is also just for updates, not discussions.

Took the car in for warranty work to replace the seal on the moon roof. Thought I would try my luck on the wavy weather strips and the black vinyl bit around the window which has deteriorated too. They have agreed to replace everything, and also the 2 rear shockers which were leaking apparently...I had no idea, so I'm pretty happy with my local dealers service to be honest. We have been given a 125ps hybrid Focus as a courtesy car....can't wait to get the Fez back!

New pair of PS4's on the front and tracking done (FNS waay out apparently!).

One odd thing though. Checked the TPMS readings on the way there, all correct. Checked again on the way home to see what the garage had put in. The new one was spot on but the FNS (not the one changed but my '5th wheel' I'd put on myself the day before) was now 10psi down.

Fearing a puncture I pumped it back up to 36 and left it in the garage... checked after 48 hours and its still at 36. For some bizarre reason it looks like the garage partially deflated my tyre while it was on the ramp having the tracking done 😡

Picked the car up from the garage following warranty work...with the added freebie of a scratch and scuff across the bumper...and to add insult to injury, on their vehicle health list, they stated my Wintrac Pro winter tyres as budget?! 😑 the cheek of it!

I finally managed to source and fit 4x Michelin PS4 DT1 tyres to my 2018 ST3 although I did prefer PS5’s but they are next to impossible to find at the moment.

My original Super Sports have lasted nearly 5 years and 20 thousand miles and the rears still had plenty of meat on them but I changed all 4 as there were signs of cracking on the side walls and I’d rather be safe than sorry!

I kept to the 205 40 18’s, I was tempted to go for the 225 fitment like a lot of people have done and these have cost me a hefty £700 but I wanted to keep the car feeling and driving the same, plus my local garage wasn’t prepared to fit anything different to what was already on the car.
