Just wondering if anyone here likes metal/death metal etc... And maybe suggest new bands :D

Or am I the only person who listens to music where most people's reactions is "How can you listen to that ****?!"

Hi mate I also love metal! I'm a bit out of touch with what's new but one of my favourite bands is suicide silence. If you haven't heard of them you should definitely check them out.

What kind of bands are you into?

Wooo!!! I'm not alone :D

Suicide Silence are pretty good B) not heard them since Mitch Lucker died though :(

I like Trivium, Machine Head, Five Finger
Death Punch, Whitechapel, Cannibal Corpse, all that kinda stuff :p
Wouldn't say I am a fan... but I like a bit of 'heavy' stuff for my gym sessions. Although what I consider heavy you probably think is pop
Please, enlighten me on what you think is heavy ;D

Well, I have heard and used to have a few tracks from Trivium when I was younger, in my dirt biking days...

Now though, my gym playlist contains tracks from Disturbed, Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot...

 Along with 50 Cent, Eminem, Linkin Park oh and there is a Will.I.Am track on there too hahaha

From what I've heard so far the new singer is pretty decent. I'm going to see them in Nov in Manchester, can't wait!

I was really into Trivium when I was a bit younger but I wasn't impressed with their album The Crusade so I didn't really bother with them after that. I've been told their albums since are a lot better though.

Machine Head are awesome and I've seen Cannibal Corpse live a few times before :boxed:

Trivium's best album is Shogun, the one after The Crusade haha :p There new one Vengeance Falls isn't far behind though, there's not as much screaming as Ascendancy though D:

Hatebreed are another one of my favourites :D It just makes you want to punch stuff hahaha

I've seen Slipknot and Machine Head live though B) they're by far the best live bands out there

Mosh pits everywhere!!!!!!!!!

My first ever festival was the first Download Festival, Iron Maiden and Audioslave headlined. Limp Bizkit cancelled because they had to work on their new album (yeah that worked out great didn't it guys...). I remember lying in my tent at one point during the weekend and I could hear some Metallica. At first I thought it was just someone playing music but after making my way down to the 2nd stage it wasn't just music it was actually Metallica! They appeared as a secret band it was awesome. Not everyone's cup of tea but Metallica are me of my all time favourite bands :)

That was the year my missus went, her mate diappeared to watch Apocolyptica, the Metallica string cover band, then she said there was a sudden rush towards the stage because the actual Metallica showed up and she was gutted when she found out because she missed it

I use to listen to metal a couple of year's ago. I use to listen to Slipknot, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Children of Bodom and In Flames but went off it as I got older. Just seem to listen to to stuff like tech/deep house and some electro now.

Suicide Silence are pretty good B) not heard them since Mitch Lucker died though :(
I couldn't believe it when I found out he was dead
