Could just be the connection plug under the seat. Worth a check.

Mine came apart once after placing some stuff under the seat.

 

it was a tat loose but not a great deal. Its is the one with the yellow wires aint it ?????

 

Most likely that the thermostat/heater pad has gone. Mine has.... anyone got ford codes for either of those parts?

 

Same has happened with mine, some part numbers would be good!

Heated seats are not standard. If yours are leather, then they will most likely have heated elements, if not leather, then they won't be.

The wires you are seeing are probably for the seatbelt light on the dash.

seatbelt lights don't work on the st dash, the wires are most likely for the pre tensioners

 

Ive picked up my ST500 today, this might be a daft question but do you have the button pushed in or pushed out for heated seats on? Does the whole seat heat up or just the bottom part?

 

The button comes out for on and only the bottom part heats up..
