I did the Revo BBK the lighter calipers made up for the heavier larger disks.Considering the increase in weight of the car the brake diameter should have been increased.... if you consider the last gen FoST had 320 fronts and the newer Mk has increased its porkyness to within a large set driver of the Focus I would have thought they would have at least went with 300mm fronts.....
I see that the airbox is out of stock as well but that's not surprise! Mountune could be making a hell of a lot more if they actually had products to sell.OK putting on the M235 upgrade and induction pack in the morning in time for a Brands evening track session tomorrow. Ill let you know how it goes!
Ok so the "kit" arrived this morning in a suspiciously small box. There was me thinking that the Mountune M235 upgrade came with the induction box. Not so. Although in fairness to me the online store is a bit unclear its not until you scroll down abit that what I ordered was the M235 lite.
So ... will it work ok with the standard ST box or should I wait till I have an induction kit fitted.
Either way tonights track evening at brands will be at stock power.
I'm pretty certain the induction kit and also hose and throttle body elbow are not a requirement more a nicely that will compliment the setup giving you a few more ponies.Ok so the "kit" arrived this morning in a suspiciously small box. Not sure what you mean by settle?fitted the Mountune M235 today. It seems to take a while to settle, anyone else feel that?.
Well for the first few miles i thought it had a bit of turbo lag I hadn't noticed before . After a few more miles it seemed to pick up and improve. certainly the throttle response is much punchier and way quicker. I just hope it hasn't lost and adjustability which has made it such a nice track car. I run the car on super unleaded and wonder if ECU has to "adapt" to the higher octane fuel, so if the map was re-written during the install, is it possible that it might take at least one tank to adapt. Not sure what you mean by settle?
When I updated my car from m225 to m235 I just installed the map and then took it out for a drive and noticed the difference pretty much immediately.
Also. This is going to sound a bit dimNot sure what you mean by settle?

No once its been installed you can remove the adapter and i keep mine away from the car just for extra security.Also. This is going to sound a bit dim...and I am sure it is the case but the instructions didn't say...the adapter is not meant to be kept plugged into the OBD port??
