Toyo Proxes TR-1's?

I've got Pirelli P Zeros at the moment, I'm thinking I might go for a change and try something new. They were pretty good on the track days I've been to, lots of grip, but then on both occasions the weather was really warm and the tarmac was baking.

The tires need to be suitable for road use and the odd track day (until I manage to get myself another set of wheels for the track).

Anyone used these? Seems they have less road noise too (the p-zeros are noisy as hell!).

I have these fitted to the front of my ST and found them to be an excellent tyre. I've been out on track about 3-4 times and use it day to day and on the motorway. They're so good and I'm such an old biddy driver the last set nearly lasted me two years

I like em - i got tr-1's on the front and pirellis on the back - they have quite a lot of lateral grip but when they let go they just go all of a sudden

but the toyos do have good grip and when they do lose grip its a lot more progressive.

what lets go all of a sudden? the p-zero? I say that as i find the p-zero really progressive in the dry and when warm (just in the damp they are shocking) and when soaking wet they aint bad

I was worried the T1r wouldn't be as progressive as im thinking of trying one next.

great tyres IMO. look nice too

Overated imo. Just cant seem to get on with them, very soft sidewall. No where near as grippy in any conditions as Eagle f1's.
